LIONS & TIGERS is a feature documentary that tells the inspirational story of a group of South Sudanese men who having lost limbs in a devastating civil war formed a wheelchair basketball team to represent their new nation.

OUR STORY

Set against the landscape of a civil war that has claimed more than 500,000 lives, Lions & Tigers tells the inspirational story of Gabriel and Gatluak, two young men who overcame war, exile and disability to fulfil their dream of establishing a national wheelchair basketball team in the world’s newest country, South Sudan.

Through the experiences of these two men, Lions & Tigers provides a unique window into the troubled short history of a country whose future hangs in the balance.
